How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Small Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held on Sunday mornings following our worship service.
Whether married or single, young, retired, (or just plain tired) we enjoy getting together with all the church people!  We have fun with church picnics, pot lucks , Sunday food and fellowship times and work days.  It’s a blessing to fellowship with such great people in our congregation.
We also collect school supplies for different areas in our community, we provide Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter Food Baskets for those in need, we provide blankets and stuffed animals for our local police and fire departments and collect outerwear for the homeless.  We are humbled to participate in many outreach opportunities and are always looking for new ways to be a blessing.
Women’s Group
Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups meet Tuesday mornings at 9:30 (childcare provided) and Wednesday nights at 6:30 during our Awana program.  We also offer one on one discipleship groups.  These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.
We are excited to start a new Mom’s Group this fall to be a support and encouragement to Mom’s with little ones at home..  More details will be coming on this so stay tuned!
Men’s  Group
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Our Men’s Bible study meets each Thursday night at 7:00.  We also provide a Men’s Coffee Time at 10:00 on Wednesday mornings with a time of prayer and devotion.
Children’s Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. During the worship time when the adults are in the auditorium, kids are dismissed to their classes.  We use Word of Life material and enjoy fun filled, Biblically grounded classes.  Following these groups Sunday school meets for all ages.  Our Awana program meets Wednesday nights from September to May from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.  We also enjoy providing special activities throughout the year like our Good Friday Breakfast for kids or our Fall Festival for families.  Watch our calendar for dates on these!
Senior Luncheons
Our seniors get together monthly for an out to eat activity or get together at someone’s house.  From a real Thanksgiving lunch with all the fixings to ice cream sundaes in the summer, our senior group enjoys strengthening relationships with one another, supporting and encouraging one another and breaking bread together!
