First Baptist Church of Duxbury

God has given our church an awesome group of young people who love each other, and more importantly, love Him. We encourage students in their walk with Jesus through our weekly youth group meetings, Sunday school sessions and other youth related activities. First Baptist's youth ministry is geared towards students in grades 7-12. Youth group meets at FBCD weekly on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:15. We also get together regularly for group activities such as:
During our time together we play games to get to know one another, spend time in large and small groups, share joys and concerns, discuss current events and issues relevant to life as a teenager, talk about what having faith is all about, pray for one another and participate in other FBCD ministries to use our gifts to serve each other and our greater community. During Sunday school (immediately after Sunday service), we study God's word. Currently we are studying the book of Acts.
Wherever you are spiritually, we invite you to come and meet some new friends and have an amazing time doing it! Maybe you don't know a lot about this religion thing and have lots of questions. Maybe you grew up in the church and are ready to take your walk with God to the next level. We have meetings and activities where you can develop both friendships and your faith. Students are encouraged to join at ANY time so come on out and bring your friends!
Please feel free to contact Curtis Sherman, Director of Youth Ministries, with any questions.
